The negatives were found in the attic of 165 Princess Street, and transferred to Queen's University Archives.

Fonds consists of glassplate negatives depicting people and places in Kingston, Ontario; an album containing prints of various Kingston and area landmarks, including the interior and exterior of the Powell Studio, persons, and events.
