These sound recordings have been donated or purchased over many decades from a variety of offices and individuals. The provenance for most of these recordings is difficult to trace, and some of these recordings may form part of other fonds within Queen's Archives.
Scope and content
The collection consists of sound recordings acquired by Queen's University, previously collected by the Library or otherwise lacking provenance. Includes some published recordings from CBC and other radio stations; recordings relating to events in Kingson, including the 1976 Olympic Games, the Kingston Tercentenary and Music in Kingston events. Also includes recordings from select political events in Ontario and Alberta.
