Biographical history

Jane Redpath Drummond was an artist based in Kingston, Ontario. She was born in 1845 to Andrew Drummond. She was a well-regarded artist, who studied under masters in Europe in her youth. She passed away on 11 April 1923 in Kingston.

Scope and content

Governors house. First executive meeting house of Lt. Governor Simcoe. Now known as 'Simcoe House' on Queen St. In 1959, it was reconstructed in Upper Canada Village resuming its original appearance.
