The fonds consists of project files, research and reports relating predominantly to the preservation of historic buildings in Ontario. Includes copied and original architectural drawings, photographs of each project site, and correspondence and minutes relating to each project. Also includes some research material relating to papers written by Scheinman, as well as conferences at which he presented.

Fonds consists of architectural drawings and other material related to a number of projects in Kingston and the surrounding area; correspondence; diaries; invoices; contracts; specifications; tenders; notebooks; and financial statements relating to the life and career of Mr. Connidis

The drawings represent heritage buildings in many towns and regions in southern Ontario such as Adolphustown, Bath, Claireville, Cobourg, Cornwall, Grafton, Islington, Kingston, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Perth, Port Hope and Toronto. Two northern towns are represented by North Bay and Penetanguishene. The drawings represent a variety of structures from churches, clubs and rectories to commerical buildings, factories and mills. The material is organized alphabetically according to town or region.

Fonds reflects the architectural practice of William Coverdale and his son William Miles Coverdale and is comprised of correspondence, financial records, design submissions and specifications, estimates, and reports relating various projects including the Criminal Lunatic Asylum, better known as Rockwood Asylum at Kingston, Ontario. Also includes photographs of the summer home of William Hugh Coverdale at Lemoine's Point Farm.

Items are architectural drawings executed in water colour of floor plans, cross sections and back elevation for Criminal Lunatic Jail, Kingston (later Kingston Psychiatric Hospital) ca. 1850 by Montreal architectural firm Hopkins, Lawford and Nelson. This proposed design was never instituted.

Fonds consists of eleven photographic copies of pen and ink on linen drawings, executed by the Boston architect, Frank T. Lent, for two separate, yet similar, plans of a summer home designed for Dr. Edward Atkinson, to be located on Big White Calf Island in the Thousand Islands, Ontario. Also included are drawings for Bermingham House amd Carter House.

The collection consists of copied plans for Kingston town hall and Kingston market house as well as a house plan on St. Denis Street in Montreal for the Heirs Hunt. There is one original set of plans, attributed to George Browne, for the Bank of Montreal (Frontenac Club) on King Street, Kingston.
