Item is a photo album with numerous b&w photographs attached inside. About halfway through the album, there begins multiple pages of photographs around Queen's University: of students and buildings etc. It can be surmised that this photo album belonged to a female student from the graduating class around 1945, as there are faint dates written in pencil on some of the pages.

Item consists of one scrapbook featuring clippings and ephemera regarding the "College Entertainers" group. This was a group of Queen's graduates who created a musical variety show that toured the province in the 1920s. It consisted of Kathleen Elliott (vocalist), Mignon Telgmann (violinist), Dorothy Dowsley (pianist), and J.Blyth Taylor (lecturer). The group was directed and promoted by E.Russell Smith and Morley C. Tillotson (also Queen's graduates).
The fonds consists of correspondence, subject files, financial records, and photographs relating ot the business operations of the Davies family. The files relate to two generations of the family - William Rupert Davies and Arthur Llewellyn Davies. The records are valuable for a study of their newspaper and radio broadcasting interests. In addition there is a large collection of Margaret Esther Davies correspondence, subject files and addresses.
