Consists of two letters from Florence Nightingale to Rachel (Williams) Norris, dated 1881 and 1899 respectively. It also includes a photograph of Rachel (Williams) Norris.
The fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence and memoranda between Pearson and Grant Dexter, 1936-1941. These photocopies were received from L.B Pearson himself as a thank-you for providing him with information from Grant Dexter's records for his Memoirs. Pearson thought the provided photocopies from his own records would provide some interesting additional information to Queen's Archives holdings. There is also a reading copy of first Brockington visitor lecture at Queen's University (1969), a biography of Lester B. Pearson (1967), and a commemerative newspaper clippings folio about Pearson.
The fonds consists of personal and business correspondence, will and probate, and a collection of James Dougall letters. Most of the correspondence is arranged chronologically, and is concerned with Stevenson's business affairs and banking transactions. One letter from J. P. Downes, a fellow townsman and militia officer, deals with alarums and excursions on the troubled Niagara frontier in the autumn of 1839. Stevenson's activities on behalf of his constituents are reflected in letters concerning Picton harbour improvement, a pension for a veteran of 1837 and the appointment of a postmaster at Bloomfield. Also included are photocopies of general and business correspondence that are held privately, but were copied and included in this fonds.
