The returns show the date the individual landed, his or her name, where they were from, what port of arrival they landed at, where they intended to settle, their condition, general appearance and overall health, how many were in the party (number of male and female adults and number of children under 6 years old and from 6 to 12 years of age) any employment waiting for them and where, what Township they were settling in or had bought land, how many passage tickets were issued, provisions and medical aid given by the Emigrant Agent, how much money they brought with them on the voyage and general remarks which included deaths, or burial details.
