There seems to be a focus on material of Irish interest, also many clippings pertaining to Lord Byron and Napoleon. There is no indication as to who collected this material, or who wrote the poetry, reflections or copied letters. Many different hands appear in the book. Of particular note are Garrison Orders for Fort St. George in response to the incidents at Vellore in 1806.
