The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, typescripts of books, essays, galley proofs, news clippings, broadcast scripts, subject files, lectures, photographs and sound recordings. Dr. Whalley is the author of several books and many essays and articles. Most are represented here by working drafts, final copies and many by the final published version. Correspondence dealing with each topic and publication is also included. Another aspect of Dr. Whalley's career, broadcasting, is well represented in the papers. Dr. Whalley authored many scripts for radio and television. Drafts of scripts, revisions and correspondence with producers follow each work through from inception to reviews. There is also documentation of the 1939 Cambridge polar expedition as well as some personal material documenting Whalley's relationship with his family. The fonds was arranged by the donor into the following series: Books; Essays and articles; Broadcasts; Poetry and early imaginative writing; Professional papers, reports; Professional correspondence; and Personal material.

The fonds consists of client files, architectural drawings, photographs and slides, some business records, accounts and correspondence accumulated during the lifetime of the firm. The material relates to the various projects that this firm carried out, in Kingston and surrounding area, between its inception in 1972 and its closing in 1996. There is a small amount of material from other sources, primarily the firm of Smith and MacLennan where Mr. MacLennan was a partner before he established his own firm. There is also a small amount of material that illustrates something of the approach to design taken by Mr. MacLennan.

Fonds consists of two sous-fonds, that of Margaret Elizabeth Phipps-Walker and that of Edward Phipps-Walker. The Edward Phipps-Walker sous-fonds consists of textual material, including a "Guest Register" for a motel in Gananoque, Ontario; photographs; audio tapes. They detail the man's life from his school days in England to his death at the age of 71 in Kingston. A very important part of these records document his business activities. Most of these activities were closely related to his role as Habour Master for the Port of Kingston. The Margaret Elizabeth sous-fonds consists of textual material and photographs detailing a good deal of her public career in Kingston, with a strong focus on her work with the Association of Women Electors. There is also a good deal of personal material such as letters and diaries.

The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes, research memos, media releases, conference papers, constituency files, scrapbooks and publications of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (C.C.F.) and New Democratic Party of Ontario. Included are study papers and discussion papers relating to the Founding Convention of the New Democratic Party of Ontario, the National New Democratic Party Convention of 1969, as well as publicity for the party and for party candidates. Graphic material includes photographs of Party candidates, as well as training and promotional films.

The fonds consists of correspondence, day books, journals, ledgers, cash books, and the financial records documenting the business transactions at the store, saw-mill, grist mill, flour mill, boarding house and electric plant. Also included is an Indenture between Benjamin Tett and O'Hare. The papers record the affairs of Benjamin Tett and his sons, John Poole Tett and Benjamin Tett, Junior and grandson Edmmund J. Tett.

The fonds consists of material created by Hugh Segal over the span of 25 years as a result of his in-depth involvement with the Progressive Conservative Party, as strategist, candidate, and volunteer, in both Ontario provincial and Canadian federal politics. The material relates to major issues such as Constitutional reform and the Charter of Rights, a national 'social contract' and political policy which has guided and affected the citizens and politicians of both the Province of Ontario and the country as a whole. Fonds consists of correspondence, financial records, diaries, travel diaries, calendars, sketch books, sketches and drawings, programmes and invitations pertaining to shows and exhibitions, inventories, speeches, awards, miscellaneous and printed material, photographs, slides and sound recordings covering all aspects of his life as a student, teacher, traveller, world-renowned artist and chronicler of the country he loved. There is also a small amount of material created and maintained by Ruth Collier (nee Brown) and some family genealogy files.

Fraser's "History of Medicine '17 - Term 1915-16". In large part, the material specifically relates to the history of the Queen's Faculty of Medicine, the development of Medicine in the Kingston area, and the medical personalities involved with this development.
